We handle the plumbing. That means the supply lines, the connections, the reel cabinets, and the hydrant outlets — installed to the requirements of AS 2441 and the National Construction Code.

What we don’t do: We are not a fire safety company. We don’t carry out annual testing, certification, or fire safety inspections. Once the plumbing is installed, your fire safety inspector handles the testing and compliance sign-off. If you don’t already have one, we’re happy to point you in the right direction.

Fire Hose Reel Installation

When a new fire hose reel system is required, whether for a new build, a fit-out, or a replacement — the plumbing side of the job includes:

• Supply and installation of fire hose reel cabinets
• Dedicated water supply pipework from the cold water main
• Isolation valves and pressure regulation where required
• Pipework routing through walls, risers, and ceiling spaces
• Connecting the reel to the building’s water supply to meet AS 2441 requirements

We work from the architect’s or fire engineer’s specification, or alongside your builder or strata manager to get the plumbing completed so your fire safety inspector can then test and certify the system.

Fire Hydrant Outlet Installation

Fire hydrant outlets (landing valves) give Fire & Rescue NSW a connection point to fight a fire in your building. The installation of the outlet valves, pipework, and riser connections is licensed plumbing work. We install:

• Hydrant outlet valves and landing valves
• Internal hydrant risers for multi-storey buildings
• Booster connections and associated pipework
• Repairs and replacements to existing hydrant outlet plumbing

Again, the testing, pressure certification, and annual compliance inspections are carried out by your fire safety inspector after we complete the plumbing.
